Why Choose Diane as your Photo-Artist?
There
is nothing in this world as intense as falling in love with a newborn.
It's an amazing, but fleeting, moment in time.
Keep the memory intact by having it captured; beautifully, professionally and
artistically,
by Diane C. Nicholson.

April 20, 2008 To Whom It May Concern, I have known Diane Nicholson for almost 30 years. I first met her when I was teaching childbirth education classes and she was expecting her first child. I was present for the birth of her first son Jordan and subsequently attended the births of her twin sons Josh and Cole and her son Ben.
It was an honor and a privilege to share those experiences with Diane and
her partner Harry. Over the years we have continued to be friends and
since the births of her children, I have become a registered midwife and
Diane has become a very talented writer and photographer. Both her writing and her photography have captured some amazing stories and images around pregnancy and birth. When my daughter was pregnant with my first grandson, Diane not only photographed her, but also managed to highlight the radiance of pregnancy and the sense of introspection that is so often reflected in images of pregnant women. They are my favorite pictures of my daughter to this day. Whether she is photographing animals, people or special moments she brings her own unique perspective and ability to see and feel emotion and depth. She certainly has a unique eye and an amazing talent. We all know how precious the memories of pregnancy, childbirth and early postpartum/newborn moments are and I would recommend Diane to anyone looking for excellence in photography for these momentous occasions. She is able to be present, without intruding, even in the most intimate time of all – labour and delivery – and record nuances and details that would otherwise be lost in the intensity of the moment. You will be so thankful that you invited her to be part of your experience.
